GHvZ Mid-Spring Update

We at Gator Humans versus Zombies have some exciting anouncements to make about what’s next with our events this semester.

Firstly, we have made the decision to extend an invitation for our upcoming games to veteran players and non-students alike. To ensure the safety of all our players and moderators, we will be requiring anyone who is not a current UF student cleared to return to campus to supply us with a COVID test from within a week of the game that shows a negative result. We will check the ID of all players when you arrive at the game to ensure you have supplied us with either your UFID or this information.

We are kicking off our bi-weekly skirmishes this upcoming Monday, February 22nd. These will be smaller hour-long games every other week from 7-8 pm in the university auditorium courtyard, which will serve as great training for our full battles. While there is no advanced registration you must still email COVID results from within a week of the skirmish to us before the event at ufgatorhvz@gmail.com if you are not a student.

Our next PvP Day will be on Saturday, February 27th from 2-6 pm at Dickinson Hall. With fresh areas to battle in, new game types to win, and a few more surprises in store, we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on. Registration for the game is open now and non-student walk-ons will not be allowed, so make sure to register beforehand.

Lastly, the hunt is back! The Kraus Cash Hunt will begin on Monday, the 22nd, directly after the Skirmish. It is limited to current UF students only. This time there’s a $40 cash prize up for grabs, so bring your A game and be prepared for anything!

We hope to see you on the battlefields!
