Will you uncover the secrets of the lost facility and save humanity\, or fall to the hands of the island horde? Grab a blaster and find out. \nHumans versus Zombies is a game of survival Nerf-Tag where you try and survive a whole weekend on campus battling zombies with a Nerf blaster\, or you join the horde yourself and try to tag the hapless humans to convert them into zombies. Loaner blasters will be provided to players who do not have their own. \n\nMeeting room location is Turlington L011. \nAttending the rules meeting is required to play. Find out on February 4th at Gator Humans versus Zombies’ The Last of Us Nerf Tag event! \nIf you’ve never played Humans versus Zombies before\, it’s a campus-wide game of Nerf tag where humans try to survive and defend themselves with Nerf blasters against zombies who try to tag humans and grow their horde. \nThe game begins at 1pm with check-in and a mandatory rules meeting at Weil Hall Room #270\, and runs until around 8pm. If you will not be able to make it at 1pm\, please message us directly so we can make sure you get the rules before you arrive. \nIMPORTANT: This game will have an ammo scavenging mechanic\, where players must collect darts throughout the game to keep their blasters loaded. This means you cannot bring your own ammo to this game. You will\, however\, be allowed to bring your own sock-balls. The types of ammo that will be available throughout the game include Full Darts\, Half Darts\, Rival Balls\, Ultra Darts\, and Mega Darts. Plan your loadouts accordingly and be prepared to be flexible. Ghosts are taking over The University of Florida — and it’s up to you to help the famous team save campus. Ready your proton packs\, socks\, and nerf blasters and prepare for an action-packed game of zombie nerf-tag. As a Ghostbuster\, no job (or fee) is too big. Will you successfully stop the supernatural invasion — or will you too join the army of the dead? \nIf you’ve never played in humans versus zombies before\, it’s a campus-wide game of Nerf tag where humans try and survive and defend themselves with Nerf blasters against zombies who try and tag humans and grow their horde. \nThe game begins at 1pm at McCarty Hall C #0100 and should end around 10pm. Dinner will also be served. \nOur Safety Rules will be as follows (these are subject to change as we monitor the current health situation in and around Gainesville): \n\nBecause HvZ involves tagging\, masks must be worn at all times during play. If you need to remove your mask during the event\, you must leave the area of active play and separate yourself from all players by at least 10 feet.\nAll blasters must be under 130 fps and follow our Blaster Modifications Guide.
